The Corn Exchange: A Revitalised Jewel in Doncaster’s City Centre
The Corn Exchange, a Grade II listed Victorian landmark, stands proudly in the heart of Doncaster. Originally constructed in 1870 as a concert hall and marketplace, the building reflects the city’s rich agricultural and commercial heritage. Its grand façade, adorned with ornate stonework and arched windows, remains a symbol of 19th-century prosperity.
Following a £5 million government-funded restoration, the Corn Exchange has been beautifully transformed into a vibrant, multi-purpose venue. The two-year renovation project, completed in late 2024.
The building officially reopened to the public over Easter weekend 2025, and now hosts a dynamic mix of local entrepreneurs. Among the first to move in are:
