Currently embarking on his acclaimed IDOLS world tour, Yungblud previously performed an emotional homecoming performance at the Doncaster Dome to an audience of over 3,000 fans in 2021.

Yungblud’s close friendship with the late rock musician Ozzy Osbourne saw him win a GRAMMY earlier this year for Best Rock Performance. Yungblud performed the Black Sabbath hit ‘Changes’ live from Villa Park at an event that would be the Birmingham-born artist’s final public appearance before his death later that month.

Supermoon will join 149 other large lion and lioness sculptures across the streets, parks and public spaces of South Yorkshire this summer.

The initiative marks the 150th anniversary of Sheffield Children’s Hospital, with the sculptures set loose across South Yorkshire for the hospital charity’s biggest ever fundraising campaign.
