Calling all little monsters, witches and ghouls! Creepy Carnival is back in Sir Nigel Gresley Square this Halloween, and it's bringing even more tricks and treats along for the ride...🌙🎃

Creepy Carnival returns to Sir Nigel Gresley Square for a Fang-tastic Fourth Year!

Following the success of last year's event, Creepy Carnival returns for its fourth year bigger and better than ever, with even more rides, entertainment and plenty of surprises in store.

On Friday 30th October, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, Sir Nigel Gresley Square will transform once again into a playground of all things creepy, with a whole evening of frightfully good family fun in store!

The much-loved ghost train is making a haunted return, alongside even more creepy carnival rides, fantastic face painters and spooky characters lurking around the square.

A £3 wristband gets you unlimited rides and face painting, so you can make the most of all the carnival fun on offer.

You might even bump into a familiar face...

That's right, Wednesday Addams will be making an appearance. Keep your eyes peeled for everyone's favourite gloomy girl as she joins the carnival festivities. If you spot her, be sure to say hello... just don't expect too much enthusiasm in return!

Now, here's a spooky coincidence for you...🪄

Did you know that this Halloween (31st October 2026) marks exactly 100 years since the death of Harry Houdini, one of the world's greatest magicians and most famous escape artists?

One hundred years on, we're bringing a little of that magic and mystery to Doncaster!

Multi-award-winning magician and escapologist Chris Cross will be taking on a daring escape challenge in the heart of the square. The question is... will he manage to break free before time runs out?

The clock will be ticking⏳

Oh, and be sure to come dressed in your most terrifying costume. The scarier, sillier and more creative, the better! There'll be prizes up for grabs throughout the evening, so make sure you arrive looking your spooky best.

And don't worry if all that frightful fun works up an appetite. A range of food and drink vendors will be on site throughout the evening, with plenty of tasty treats available to purchase.

So, round up your little monsters and prepare for an evening of ghostly giggles, spooky surprises and Halloween magic.
