The celebration at the centre on White Rose Way, Doncaster, marks thirty years to the day since Lakeside Village, then named The Yorkshire Outlet, was first unveiled to the public in 1996.

Visitors can look forward to activities including live performances, party games and dancing, and a special ‘meet and greet’ with Shaun the Sheep.
There’ll also be face painting and a special birthday gold rush with prizes from The Dome, Cast Doncaster, Club Doncaster and Gulliver’s Valley Resort.
A giant birthday cake will be unveiled too, along with 400 cupcakes which will be given away to visitors throughout the event.
At the centre of Lakeside Village’s summer programme is Elvie’s Farm Family Fun Zone, open daily until 31 August in Unit 12 where younger visitors to Lakeside Village can enjoy themed play areas, games and creative activities.
Families can also tackle Elvie’s Farm Trail, enjoy a round of crazy golf and battle it out in the Ping Pong Parlour.
And, from Monday 10 August to Sunday 23 August, visitors can take on the giant 250th St Leger Anniversary Maze, offering the chance to mark the historic milestone of Britain's oldest classic horse race with a fun and interactive activity.
The celebrations will come to a close at the end of the month with the return of Elvie’s Farm’s Petting Farm on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, giving visitors of all ages the opportunity to meet some of Elvie’s friendliest farmyard visitors for a hands-on experience.
The interactive space offers children the chance to learn about a host of gentle animals in a safe and welcoming environment, giving them the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and create memories for life.
