Taking place on Saturday 6 June (10am–4pm) and Sunday 7 June (10am–2pm), the free-to-attend event will see the shopping outlet transformed into an immersive Star Wars experience, offering a full weekend of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Hosted in partnership with the Phoenix Squad, the event promises a packed programme of themed activities designed to delight both younger visitors and lifelong fans of the iconic franchise.
Young Padawans will have the chance to enrol in a Jedi Training School, where they can test their skills and learn the ways of the Force. Meanwhile, a dedicated activity zone will feature props, colouring packs and stickers, giving children plenty of opportunities to get creative and fully immerse themselves in the experience.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy interactive games and entertainment, while roaming Star Wars characters will be on hand across the centre, offering memorable meet-and-greet moments and photo opportunities.
The event, which will support Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, is part of Lakeside Village’s ongoing programme of community-focused activities, designed to provide accessible, family-friendly experiences for shoppers and visitors, while supporting the centre’s position as a key leisure destination in South Yorkshire.
