New Visit Doncaster website unveiled
A new website to promote Doncaster and encourage people to visit the famous town has gone live.
The eye-catching and easy to use www.visitdoncaster.com has been revamped by the council’s Visit Doncaster team following a series of focus groups with website users.
Its launch coincides with the publication of the new Visit Doncaster 2021 Guide and provides online visitors with an enhanced digital experience which makes it simpler for people to find out about the fascinating places you can visit across Doncaster’s rich and varied borough.
Dan Swaine, Doncaster Council’s Director of Economy and Environment, said: “The new Visit Doncaster website is designed to appeal to an online audience. It looks superb, is very user friendly and, importantly, it showcases everything Doncaster has to offer. It is a virtual one-stop shop for what’s going on in Doncaster.
“We are expecting UK residents to be on the lookout for things they can see and do closer to home once the Covid-19 lockdown ends and Doncaster certainly delivers on that front. Whether you are looking for fascinating history and wonderful countryside or world class sport and top quality attractions, we have it in abundance. Our new website is the go to place to find out everything Doncaster can offer you in 2021.”
