Mamma Mia! Abba Fever set to party at The Dome this December

Doncaster partygoers can look forward to finding their flares and donning their platform boots this December, when one of the UK and Europe’s most successful Abba tribute acts boogies into town.

Abba Fever will be performing their award-winning set at The Dome in Doncaster on Friday 17 December, as part of the venue’s programme of Christmas parties.

The night will begin at 7:30 with a welcome drink on arrival, followed by food supplied by the Aagrah Group. The Abba Fever performance, featuring all of the group’s legendary disco hits, will be followed by a live DJ set.

The event is one of three Christmas Party nights taking place at The Dome this festive season.

On Friday 9 December, the venue will be transformed for a Black Tie Christmas, complete with a drink on arrival, a three-course meal, and an evening of dancing, as The Silvertones perform a set of dance floor classics, old and new.

And, on Friday 16 December, it’s time to rewind the clock for Back to the Disco – a magical Christmas evening with drink on arrival, a two-course festive meal, and a live band performing hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Chris Hone, head of commercial development at Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT), which manages The Dome, said: “We’re really excited about our Christmas Parties this festive season.

“From the brilliant Abba Fever, who will without doubt light up the stage and fill the dancefloor, through to a black tie Christmas do, and the retro hits of bygone disco decades, we’ve got something for everyone.”

Tickets for The Dome’s Christmas Parties start at £40pp. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.dclt.co.uk/the-dome/whats-on
