Enjoy climbing and archery at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre this autumn

Visitors to Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre will need to aim high this September with the opening of a climbing wall and archery space.

The 14m climbing wall and archery area will open from Friday 24 September with sessions bookable now.

Chris Hone, head of commercial development at DCLT, said: “Following a busy summer period where visitors took to water for the Aquapark experience and enjoyed the new stand-up paddleboards along with the opportunity to take a leisurely paddle round the lake with kayaks, canoes or katakanu boat hire we’re pleased to be launching our autumn activities.

“The climbing wall and archery space are excellent autumn additions to our centre and will attract people who’ve not been to Hatfield before to come and see what we have to offer.

“The centre is a great place to enjoy a range of activities right here on your doorstep in Doncaster.

“Visitors will also be able to book craft hire to continue to enjoy time on the lake over the coming months,”

The climbing wall is suitable for visitors from 8 years old and above but those under 16 must have a parent in attendance with them.

The 50-minute sessions cost £10 per person. Sessions will run every Friday and weekends as well as daily during the October school holiday.
