Club Doncaster Renames Stadium as Club Doncaster Sports Village

Posted: 01 June 2026

We are proud to announce that the Eco-Power Stadium will become the Club Doncaster Sports Village - a name that reflects who we are, what we've built, and where we're going.

This isn't just a rebrand. It's a statement of intent.

Led by Chairman Terry Bramall, this decision speaks to our ambition to grow beyond matchdays and establish something truly significant for South Yorkshire - a sporting and community destination that serves this region every single week of the year. Longer term, we have ambitions to further develop the physical footprint of the site, adding community and sporting facilities that cement our role as a destination for the region.

Our CEO, Gavin Baldwin, said: "We want the Club Doncaster Sports Village to be a place people come back to again and again - for football, for rugby, for world-class events, and for the kind of experiences that stay with you."

We've made a deliberate choice not to pursue a principal stadium naming rights partner. That decision puts our long-term brand and our community first. Commercial partners who share those values and understand the platform the Sports Village represents are always welcome to start a conversation with us.

The last five years have shown us what this venue can become. We've hosted professional boxing, Challenge Cup semi-finals, live concerts, England men's junior and women's senior international fixtures, Donny Fest, the Eve Merton Legends Game, and much more. The Club Doncaster Sports Village will build on that foundation, with an expanded events programme bringing sport, music and entertainment to this region.
