Poppy’s Coffee Lounge by Jill is the latest addition to Doncaster’s vibrant Frenchgate shopping centre — proudly founded by well‑known local businesswoman Jill Young, who has spent many years running and managing some of the city’s favourite cafés.
After decades of bringing warmth, friendly service and great coffee to Doncaster on behalf of other owners, Jill has now launched her very own venue: Poppy’s Coffee Lounge, a space designed with comfort, quality and community at its heart.
Poppy’s Coffee Lounge serves a delicious selection of coffees alongside an array of sweet treats — ideal for a shopping break, a catch‑up with friends or simply a peaceful moment to yourself. The lounge soft‑opened for takeaway service in the run‑up to the New Year and is now ready to welcome customers fully in‑store.
There is a seperate menu for Gluten Free and seperate fridge for sweet treats.
