What’s On

Gomde is a wonderful place to spend the day, and there is lots to see and do on site. This year’s activities include:

Music · Archery · Vintage Tractors · Café · Food Stalls · Plants · Pottery · Children’s Activities · Raffle · Meditation Hall · Historic Lindholme Hall Tour · Mossery and Conservation Activities · Arts and Crafts · Library · Gomde Shop

Discover Gomde UK

Lindholme Hall Estate is home to Gomde UK, a registered charity and peaceful retreat and meditation centre founded by Tibetan Buddhist master Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.

On the day, you can visit our Meditation Hall, see beautiful statues, Buddhist art and culture, explore our library, and find out more about what happens here throughout the year — from meditation and retreats to local community initiatives and environmental projects.

Nature & Conservation

Lindholme is home to one of the UK’s last remaining uncut lowland raised mires and plays an important role in peatland restoration across Hatfield Moors. Come and learn more about our conservation work, the rich mosaic of habitats and wildlife found here, and the many ways people help care for this beautiful land.
