Autism Pride Day

  • Venue/Location:Sandall Park
  • Date:13 Jun 26

Autism Pride Day is a celebration of neurodivergent identity, strength, and community.

The event will bring together families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), alongside the wider community, to challenge outdated perceptions of autism and celebrate the incredible strengths that neurodivergent individuals bring to the world.

The day will begin with a sensory-enhanced colour run at 12pm

There will be a wonderful line-up of free children’s entertainment, including a free foam party, GP Princess appearances, Mr Dan’s circus skills workshop, Little Movers, the incredible Big Bubble Man, TFN Sensory Ambulance, and many more who will be providing entertainment throughout the day.

Throughout the event there will also be a wide range of activities for families to enjoy, including:

• Live entertainment and performers

• Circus acts and interactive shows

• Children’s fun fair rides and bouncy castles

• Stalls, face painting, and food vendors

• A dedicated sensory tent provided by The SEN Den, offering a calmer space with specialist sensory equipment for children who may need time away from the busier environment

This event is being organised by Little Rainbows Children’s Autism Charity, who are passionate about creating inclusive, positive experiences for neurodivergent children and their families. We are also extremely grateful to be supported in collaboration with other community groups and organisations, including Doncaster Lions, The ME Project, Friends of Sandall Park, and Cast Doncaster.
