Winter Wellness Walks

  • Venue/Location:Potteric Carr Nature Reserve
  • Date:15 Nov 26
  • Tickets:From £2.55

Escape the winter blues with a refreshing walk around Potteric Carr with mindfulness exercises focused on improving wellbeing.

Walk, Breathe, Belong

Join us for a gentle, guided walk and talk through Potteric Carr, with simple wellbeing practices naturally woven into the experience.

Get outside to make the most of the winter sun at the beautiful Potteric Carr Nature Reserve. Even in winter, wildlife is teaming all around you and the calmness of the wetlands makes for a refreshing and relaxing backdrop.

We'll take a slow paced walk around the reserve, each session will be intuitively led by wellbeing practitioner Natalie Diamond from Diamond Soul Healing CIC, and will offer a different opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature and support your wellbeing.

These walks will be running thoughout autumn and winter. Along the way, you may be invited to take part in practices such as grounding, meditation, forest bathing, breathwork, journalling, mindful observation and other nature-based wellbeing activities. The exact activities will vary from session to session, allowing each experience to be guided by the season, surroundings and the group on the day.

The aim is simple; get moving, get outdoors, feel better.

There is no need to have any previous experience of meditation or wellbeing practices, and you don't need to be particularly "good" at walking! The sessions are about moving gently (guided by the group pace), connecting with nature, having a chat and taking some time for yourself.

With the support of Well Doncaster these events are offered at only £2.00 which includes addmission into Potteric Carr Nature Reserve.

Come along, walk, breathe, connect and see where the experience takes you. And enjoy a hot drink in the onsite cafe afterwards.*

*One standard hot drink per person included.

All welcome. No experience necessary. Though please note that due to limited spaces booking for this event is essential.
