It was built over the medieval graveyard of St Mary Magdalene.

n work following the devastating 1994 fire, archaeologists discovered medieval human remains beneath the building. Rather than disturb the site further, the remaining graves were left in peace beneath the new floor.

But are they really resting peacefully? 

Traders and staff have reported unexplained cold spots, an uneasy feeling when entering the building alone, and even the mysterious figure of a man seen running through the hall…
