Feel the Howl of Vulcan XH558

Join us at Doncaster Sheffield Airport on Sunday 2 August 2026 for an unforgettable opportunity to experience Vulcan XH558 as she is brought back to life.

With places starting at £95, the Vulcan XH558 Engine Ground Run Experience is a rare chance to get close to one of Britain’s most iconic aircraft and feel the sound, power and atmosphere of the legendary Rolls-Royce Olympus engines.

You will watch the ground crew prepare the aircraft for power-on, see the aircraft’s control surfaces exercised, witness the bomb-bay doors and airbrakes in operation, and hear the famous Vulcan howl during the engine run.

You will spend approximately 60 minutes at the aircraft, with plenty of opportunities to take photos and capture the memory of a truly special day. 

Each participant will also receive a commemorative certificate to mark the experience.

Session Times:

• First Session: 9:00am – 11:00am
• Second Session: 10:30am – 12:30pm
