Join our archaeological expert to learn more about the discovery of over 1000 Roman Silver Denarii coins in Norton, Doncaster.
The Norton Hoard is a large and important hoard of 1,056 Roman silver coins, one of the largest to be found in this region. At this talk, you can find out more about this amazing find, discover the rich Roman heritage of the area and get hands-on with coins from the hoard.
Refreshments are not included but attendees can purchase their own refreshments from our fantastic onsite Café 1910. Please leave plenty of time to make your way up to the room for an 11am start.
