Football legends return to Doncaster for one of the city’s most popular charity events – the Eve Merton Dreams Trust Legends Game. After two consecutive wins over Liverpool Legends, the Doncaster Legends now face an even bigger challenge: Manchester United Legends are coming to town.
Confirmed names for United so far include Ryan Giggs, John O’Shea, and Wes Brown – will they be able to stop Doncaster’s winning streak?
This family-friendly day promises more than just football, with activities and entertainment starting from midday around the stadium. Over 5,000 fans are expected to attend this year’s event – don’t miss out!

About the event
Since 2013, the Eve Merton Dreams Trust has brought football legends to Doncaster, raising vital funds to support local families affected by cancer. The charity was founded in memory of Eve Merton, a local woman who sadly lost her life to ovarian cancer in 2011.
Last year’s event raised over £92,000, helping push the total raised by these charity fixtures close to £600,000.
