Elvie’s Farm Family Fun at Lakeside Village

Families are invited to enjoy a summer full of farmyard fun at Lakeside Village in Doncaster, as Elvie the duck returns with an exciting programme of activities, experiences and creative events for all ages.

Running daily from 20 May to 31 August, 10am – 5pm, Elvie’s Farm Family Fun offers a variety of interactive attractions across the centre.

At the heart of the experience is Elvie’s Farm Family Fun Zone, located in Unit 12 and on the Village Green. This welcoming space features a farm-themed photo area, reading corners, colouring tables, games and hands-on activities, providing plenty to keep younger visitors entertained. Visitors can also enjoy the popular Ping Pong Parlour in Unit 12, perfect for relaxed family fun.

Families can explore the centre by taking part in Elvie’s Farm Trail, spotting a range of farmyard favourites including a cockerel, donkey, horse, cow, Billy goat and pig installations along the way. On the Village Green, additional highlights include creative photo opportunities such as the ‘Cowch’, pig bench and Elvie’s Crazy Golf.

Throughout the summer, a series of special event days and activities will also take place:

• Petting Farm (selected dates) – A hands-on experience where children can meet and learn about friendly farm animals in a safe, welcoming setting.
• Fun Day with Sammy the Bronco Sheep (1–2 August) – Take on the bucking bronco challenge for some high-energy, rodeo-style fun the whole family will love.
• Creative Workshops (8–9 August) – Children can paint farmyard creations, make Posey Pig lollipops and enjoy face painting. Sessions run 10am–12.30pm and 1.30pm–4pm.

With a mix of free activities and select bookable sessions, Elvie’s Farm Family Fun promises a great-value day out where families can play, explore and create lasting memories together.
