The annual spectacular returns for another year of splendid steampunk activities, fabulous entertainment and a Steampunk Vintage and Traders Fayre!
This is an all-day event with points of interest and activities taking place throughout the City Centre including the Mansion House, Market Place and Corn Exchange.
The promenade participants will meet at the Miners Statue at 10:00 and step off approx. 10:15 to walk to Doncaster Mansion House where they will be met by the Civic Mayor of Doncaster and invited into the Mansion House.
Expect a day full of fabulous Steampunk fashion plus music, song and dare devil antics to entertain visitors throughout the day.
Alice Strange
Formerly Alice's Night Circus, Alice is a very popular artist within the Steampunk, Fantasy and Faery communities. Alice is classically trained and started her
journey in classical music before venturing into her own style of music which encompasses a wide range of musical genres .
The Cogkneys
The Cogkneys take old time music hall, parody songs, poetry, war time music and comedy, put it in a blender and served it as a delicious and hilarious entertainment soup, creating music hall merriment and Steampunk delights.
The Victorian Explorers
Intrepid Victorian adventurers Major Marmaduke Colslore (Ret) & Dr Archibald Cockles explore this modern world from the perspective of the Victorian mind.
Sharing finds and tales from their previous travels visitors will be drawn into the journey and world of the " Victorian Explorer."
Victorian Daredevil Show
Behold the Victorian Daredevil Duo — defying gravity, good sense, and sensible footwear with outrageous feats of balance, bravery, and borderline foolishness, all performed with a stiff upper lip
