Music Industry Reset is a one-day conference, live showcase, and networking event bringing together 400 independent musicians, music educators, venue owners, and industry professionals at the iconic Doncaster Corn Exchange.
Organised by AV Foundation CIC, the social impact arm of Artifex Ventures, this linear, single-track event features:
Live product launches of 9 connected apps built for independent musicians, covering everything from finding collaborators and booking gigs to distributing music and streaming human-only content.
Panels and fireside chats with representatives from Eventbrite, CoStar Live Labs, Elevanted Studios on the future of the independent music industry.
Live performances from PureWav-verified artists performing exclusively human-created music.
Hands-on demo stations where you can try every app and create your free Artifex ID on the spot.
A 60-Second Pitch competition where artists play their best track through the venue PA. Audience votes. Winner gets 6 months of Creator Passport free and a featured spot on PureWave.
ACT 1: Afternoon Programme (17:00 - 22:00)

The formal programme ends. Cash bar is open, background music plays, and the room is open for artists, producers, venue owners, and industry professionals to network freely.

1. How much are tickets?
Ticket pricing starts at £5 for Early Bird and £12 for Standard, with VIP and Super VIP packages available. A limited number of free entry tickets (£0) are available for door-fillers who have a redeem code (requires an Artifex ID). Please purchase your ticket in advance to secure your entry as capacity is strictly limited to 400 attendees.
2. Who is this event for?
This event is designed for independent musicians, solo artists, bands, producers, sound engineers, DJs, music university/college students, venue owners, promoters, and music industry professionals looking to connect and explore new tools.
3. Where is it located and how do I get there?
The event takes place at the Doncaster Corn Exchange. The venue is easily accessible by train (Doncaster Station is a short walk away) and has nearby parking options.
4. Is food and drink available?
Yes, There is also a cash bar open during the networking and social portion of the event (6:00 - 8:00 PM) as well as local food vendors near by.
5. Can I perform or pitch my music?
Yes! Emerging artists can sign up for the 60-Second Pitch competition during afternoon registration, where you can play a snippet of your track through the main PA for audience voting.
