Harry's 40's Day

  • Venue/Location:Barnby Dun and Kirk Sandall Sports Association Ground
  • Date:2 May 26 - 3 May 26
  • Tickets:From £5

Come and join in a 1940s weekend in honour of Harry Peace at Barnby Dun & Kirk Sandall Cricket Ground.

When he passed away Harry was 15 years old, but in his short life he did so much and affected so many people who he had met on his life’s journey. Harry was a lover of history, he respected the service of our armed forces and that of all veterans. He knew of the 3 Commonwealth Graves in his local church and after he had paraded on Remembrance Sunday he would go and place a cross of remembrance on the graves of these brave men.

This 1940s‑themed weekend remembers Harry and celebrates his life, while reflecting the values he held so dearly.
