Doncopolitan Re-Launch invites you to a film screening and panel event in partnership with The Guardian.
It's been one year since the launch of the Made in Doncaster film, which reached 125K online viewers. The film documented life in Doncaster during the pandemic, focusing on the lives of Doncopolitan co-founder Rach Horne, Pam Johnson from the WASPI Women (Women Against State Pension Inequality), and activist Lindsay McGlone. This event brings all team members from the film together to discuss the impact it has had and what has happened since the film came out. The event will also launch a new Doncopolitan print magazine and website funded by Doncaster Council ARG.
There will be arrival drinks in the Nook bar at 2pm before the screening starts at 3pm followed by a post screening panel in the Second Space.
