Right Up Our Street strive to push boundaries and deliver a unique high quality event that we can all be proud of. This is about audiences connecting to joy, embracing experiences and participatory moments. Culture belongs to everyone. Right Up Our Street are so excited to share that this year’s Doncaster Festival of Light central artwork is Machine Hallucinations : Large Nature Model by Refik Anadol.
About the Artist: Refik Anadol is a media artist and designer renowned for his ground-breaking work in data-driven, ethically sourced, AI-powered immersive installations that transform vast datasets into mesmerising visual and sensory experiences.
Event Details: The Doncaster Festival of Light runs from 14th November to 23rd November 2025, each day at the Minster Church of St George. This is a free ticketed event for Doncaster Residents (with a £5 fee for Non-Doncaster Adult Residents).Tickets are available in half-hour slots. There is an option to leave a donation. All contributions directly support the delivery of Right Up Our Street’s charity-led events. They suggest a donation of £2 per ticket. Accessibility Right Up Our Street believe in making the festival accessible to everyone.
Here are the details for disabled access at The Minster:
· Toilets: Accessible toilets are available onsite.
· Baby Changing: Facilities are also available onsite.
· Parking: While parking is not allowed onsite, we recommend St George’s Car Park for accessible parking nearby the Minster.
· Entrance: The entrance to the Minster is ramped for wheelchair users.
· Assistance Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome at the Minster.

This ensures that programming is relevant and led by the community of Doncaster.
