Askern Boating Lake

This lake and the surrounding park is located in the centre of the town of Askern.

It is a pleasant place to fish and as the water has tarmac surrounding it also makes it very suitable for anglers with disabilities. There are toilet facilities on site and also a café from where day tickets are purchased.

Askern Lake is a popular landmark and leisure destination, enjoyed for its beautiful scenery and wildlife. Facilities and activities include:

• Angling (permitted between dawn and dusk), there is no fee to fish but you will need an EA rod licence
