The building was started months before the outbreak of World War Two and completed during it. The striking design is quite unusual for a Church of England parish church and is a landmark in Doncaster. Yet the White Church is not known by all for its interior and acoustic. This is a chance to come and see it; to enjoy some food and perhaps take home something.
No booking required
There is a side door giving entrance to the main building but we regret otherwise there are steps towards the altar, the rear of the building and Lady Chapel.
This event will run in line with local & national government guidelines at the time of the festival.
15 minutes The Rector and Curate will be available all day on the grounds and people available to talk about the building.

We are immediately opposite a florist and stonemason. There is a large blue church noticeboard and pedestrian crossing. There is plenty of parking for cars in our car park entered through the main gates where the blue sign is. There are bus stops very near with frequent services from the bus station in Doncaster or from Sheffield the X78.
