We Create: Mexborough

Residents in Mexborough, Doncaster, have an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide range of creative activities - all for free.

‘We Create: Mexborough’ encourages people who are feeling lonely or experiencing mental health issues to express themselves through creative activities, from fun drama sessions to hands-on arts activities.

With the support of professional artists from darts (Doncaster Community Arts), Cast theatre and Heritage Doncaster, participants will be encouraged to try something new with others to help them feel good and improve their health and wellbeing.

With so many activities on offer, there really is something for everyone.

‘We Create: Mexborough’ will offer regular creative opportunities for adults aged 18 and over every Wednesday, 10.30am — 12.30pm, from 18 March at Mexborough Library, John Street, S64 9HS.

No experience is needed – just come along and have a go! Friends, family members and other community members are welcome to get involved and try something new.

Sessions are free to attend and there is no need to book on, although we encourage you to come regularly to get the most out of the sessions.

We are also looking for local volunteers who would like to join our team and get involved in this project.
