Children's Book Club

Thursday 20th February 16:00 - 17:00 at Waterstones Doncaster

Our School Holiday Book Club has been a hit so far, so obviously we are going to be continuing next year - we chose not to host a book club in the hectic Christmas holiday, but we will be back with you in February half term!

The Children's School Holiday Book Club runs once per school holiday for readers aged between 5 and 11 and will be a fun filled hour of reading, bookish chat and reviews, activities and games al linked to a pre-set selection of books!

Sound like something you and your child are interested in? Sign up today - there are a limited number of places due to the way Book Club is run, so please get in touch to reserve a place for your child so they don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

The books for the February half term meeting are Bad Nana; Older Not Wiser, by Sophy Henn (aimed at age 5-8), The Girl Who Speaks Bear, by Sophie Anderson (aimed at age 9-12) and Peter Pan by J M Barrie (Children's Classic).
It is encouraged but not compulsary to have read all three books over the course of half term, but a little knowledge about them would be beneficial to take part in the activities.

For more information, please speak to a bookseller in store.
