Hickleton Golf Club
Hickleton Golf Club is located in open countryside in the heart of South Yorkshire between the towns of Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley, yet only three miles from junction 37 of the A1(M).
The original 9-hole course was founded in 1909 with the current 18-hole layout opening in 1976, which was designed by the Ryder Cup players Neil Coles and Brian Huggett. The course is an undulating parkland course with tree-lined fairways and fantastic panoramic views over South Yorkshire and the eastern Pennines. In the words of many visitors to Hickleton: "a superb course with magnificent scenery."
