Entertainment After Racing

Live on the Champagne Lawn after racing for County and Hospitality ticket holders we have 80s Explosion. The ultimate 80s concert will take place after racing! A brilliant 80s tribute band playing the likes of The Human League, Spandau Ballet, Europe, Wham and many more!

What To Expect

Along with witnessing history when the runners and rider enter the stalls to compete in the world’s oldest Classic Flat horse racing fixture, expect to experience a social occasion and atmosphere like nothing else.

This is THE pinnacle of Doncaster events to attend in 2021. The City flocks to experience all the drama and showmanship you’d expect from an event of this calibre and Doncaster’s streets are lined with flags and a festival-feel throughout the four-day Cazoo St Leger Festival.

But it’s not only the proud people of Yorkshire that won’t want to miss any of the action – the eyes of the world will be on Doncaster Racecourse for this epic moment in the British Flat horse racing season. Whilst we look to put on a standout show, your safety is our priority and all events will be run in accordance with the latest government advice and guidelines. Visit our news pages for the latest updates on what to expect.

The Most Prestigious Live Horse Racing

Bringing the four-day Cazoo St Leger festival to a dramatic climax, the Group 1 Cazoo St Leger Stakes attracts some of the leading trainers and horses from across the country.

Boasting a glittering roll of honour, which is littered with some of the most acclaimed horses in history, the race is the final leg of the esteemed British ‘Triple Crown’. Comprising of three British Classic races – the Newmarket 2000 Guineas, Epsom Derby and, finally, the St Leger, winning all three Group 1 horse racing fixtures is considered the greatest achievement in Thoroughbred horse racing and was last achieved by Nijinsky in 1970.

Alongside the Cazoo St Leger Stakes, the final day of the Cazoo St Leger festival also features top-class horse races including the Champagne Stakes and the fast and furious, ultra-competitive sprint - the Portland Handicap.

Tickets

This highlight of the Doncaster events calendar will prove incredibly popular. They are expecting tickets to this year’s Cazoo St Leger to sell out. If tickets are still available, advance tickets close at midnight the day before racing.

New year, new decade, new look Leger. For 2021 we have re-imagined the leger experience …

The county enclosure will offer a real festival experience with street food, a vibrant and rainbow feel with some surprises during the day.

The Grandstand offers great views of the racing access to the betting ring and hall, along-side the clocktower champagne court. With a great range of local food and drink.

The family area will have an alcohol-free area, to ensure a relaxed environment for extended families to enjoy the event together.
