Upcoming eventsChristmas events begin for Doncaster ahead of the festive season
Frost Festival: 8th – 23rd December on Clock Corner, St Sepulchre Gate and the surrounding city centre areas
Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Christmas in Doncaster with a whole host of events taking place in the run-up to the festive season.
The season of events will include visits from Santa Clause, story time with Mary Christmas, festive open days at the Mansion House as well as Christmas Carols in the Square with choirs, carols and musicians providing the backdrop to the entertainment. There will be a delicious array of food and drink to take away or sit and enjoy in the Corner Snug. There will be festive cabins that will be open everyday offering small retailers the opportunity to bring festive cheer and gift options to city centre shopers, a children's tea cup ride, as well the return of the free snow globe for children to play in.

Story Time with Mary Christmas free Children’s event hourly from 11am -2pm
Tours 11:30, 12:30 & 1:30
Christmas Carols in the Square at Sir Nigel Gresley Square: 19th December between 6pm and 8pm. You can expect the following and more:
• Christmas Carols and songs from the fabulous Rainbow Connection Singers and Choirs
• LED Street Performers and Aerial Artist
• Children’s Fun Fair rides plus FREE Snow Globe includes photo
• A selection of delicious food and beverages available including Mulled Wine, Hot Chocolate and roasted chestnuts
As part of the Frost Festival, we will also be opening the Corner Snug, a warm space for shoppers and visitors to rest a while and enjoy the festival with their families. On top of this, most of our activities are free and will be open, welcoming spaces for all.
Entertainment will include Jugglers, Magicians, LED elves, a 2m tall Robot an of course the visits from Father Christmas. This is not an event to be missed!
