The Most Prestigious Live Horse Racing Bringing the four-day Betfred St Leger festival to a dramatic climax, the Group 1 Betfred St Leger Stakes attracts some of the leading trainers and horses from across the country.

Boasting a glittering roll of honour, which is littered with some of the most acclaimed horses in history, the race is the final leg of the esteemed British ‘Triple Crown’. Comprising of three British Classic races – the Newmarket 2000 Guineas, Epsom Derby and, finally, the Betfred St Leger, winning all three Group 1 horse racing fixtures is considered the greatest achievement in Thoroughbred horse racing and was last achieved by Nijinsky in 1970.
