Dragon Boat Challenge 15th July on the Lake at Lakeside
It’s Fast, Fun and Family Friendly.
Come, see and support up to 36 teams of 10 rowers’ racing in decorated 30 foot Dragon Boats over a 200 metre course to be crowned the Doncaster Dragon Boat Challenge Champions of 2017.
They all want to win! But who will take the crown from the 2016 Champions ‘Denton & Nickels III’ who won the final in 57.33 seconds.
This event is fun and exciting to watch and has a real purpose of helping raise money for Charities and good causes.
In 2016 the teams that took part collected over £15,000 for their chosen charities.
Apart from the racing that starts at 11am with the final at about 4.30pm there are fun fair rides and activities for children, as well as food and charity stalls.
The event is free to attend.

A 48 acre man-made lake at Lakeside which is an area made up of Leisure, Sport, Restaurants, Retail, Museum,Residential and the Keepmoat Stadium which is the home of Doncaster Rovers.
