1. Music at The Minster

Doncaster Minster of St George - Saturday 10th March 2018, from 7:00pm.

The Rotary Club of Doncaster presents: Music at the Minster

Provided by the Doncaster Youth Jazz Association: The DYJA Stageband and the DYJA Swing Orchestra, in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Doncaster.

2. The World Famous Elvis Show

Doncaster Dome - Saturday 10th March, doors from 7:00pm.

Fresh from his completely sold-out performances at the Albany Theatre and direct from the West End, THE WORLD'S LEADING ELVIS PERFORMER CHRIS CONNOR, starring with his live 12 piece energetic band 'THE STEELS', with backing from 'The  Sweet Harmonies ' as they return for one night only on Saturday 10th March 2018 along with support act Doncaster's very own comedian, Mr. Lee Lard - PETER KAY TRIBUTE

This show respectively and authentically recreates ELVIS at his very best. You will simply feel that you have been transported back in time. 3. Two Pianos

Doncaster Little Theatre - Saturday 10th March, 7:30pm

Are you ready to experience the ultimate piano rock ‘n’ roll concert?

Two Pianos will take you on a musical journey back in time to celebrate the rock ‘n’ roll roots of Memphis and New Orleans, performing classic hits from Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and many more.

Al Kilvo and David Barton will each individually perform, along with a top class band, a score of hits including, Whole Lotta Shakin, Never Can Tell, Blue Suede Shoes, Roll Over Beethoven, Honey Don’t, Chantilly Lace, Johnny B Goode, Great Balls Of Fire, Oh Boy, Blueberry Hill, Love Me Tender, You Win Again, Maybellene and more.

4. Potteric Carr guided walk

Potteric Carr Nature Reserve - Saturday 10th March, 10:30am-12:30pm

Join Yorkshire Wildlife Trust staff for a gentle walk around the reserve on the search for wildlife and learn about the management of the site, staff recommend wearing suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

5. Mother's Day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Yorkshire Wildlife Park - Sunday 11th March from 9:00am

The Winter’s thaw is coming just at the right time for one of the highlights of the calendar – Mother’s Day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

The unique venue is opening its Safari Café doors for a special breakfast and afternoon tea sittings on 11th March. Breakfasts offering the park's tasty morning treats will start at 9:00am and 9:30am while a sumptuous afternoon tea will be served from 2pm to 4pm.

Guests will be served a chef’s selection of sandwiches, cream tea, a selection of sweet treats, tea or coffee, a mini bottle of Prosecco and a present for Mums. Afternoon tea costs £17.95 without alcohol and £22.95 with a mini bottle of Prosecco.

6. Dons vs. Whitehaven

Keepmoat Stadium - Sunday 11th March, kick off at 3:00pm

Give your mum a treat she will never forget this Mother’s Day as the Dons are offering fans mums a chance to walk out with the players.

And that is not all, mums can also attend the game for free (if bought in conjunction with a full paying adult ticket, or with voucher A of your season ticket book).

So come and cheer on the lads as they look to continue their succesful season and give your mum a Mother’s Day not to forget.

7. Premier Music Fair

Doncaster Dome - Sunday 11th March, 9:00am - 2:00pm

Premier Music Fairs are a regular highlight at the Doncaster Dome. Come along to one of the fairs and enjoy a great day out. Meet the sellers face to face and examine the condition of the records yourself - no mis-described items or long waits for the post to arrive. Haggle to get that bargain and enjoy the buzz and sociability that only meeting like-minded people can bring.
