Dancing on Ice 2018 winner skates into Doncaster
Star of the ice, Jake Quickenden, winner of Dancing on Ice 2018, is set to skate into Doncaster this month (January 19).
The skating show winner is set to join skaters on the UKs only split level rink at Doncaster Dome where he will meet fans.
Kraig Kelly, head of leisure for Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust said: “We are looking forward to welcoming 2018s Dancing on Ice Winner, Jake Quickenden to the Dome.
“The popular show is watched by thousands of people and each year we see more and more people trying out skating when they’ve been inspired by the show.”
Jake won the tenth series of Dancing on Ice when he partnered professional German figure skater Vanessa Bauer.
He has also appeared on TV screens as a contestant on the ninth and eleventh series of The X Factor in 2012 and 2014 and was a being runner-up in series 14 of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.
“During this special ice skating session, Jake will be making appearances on the ice as well as being available for photos and autographs off the ice,” added Kraig.
Tickets for the session, which runs from 2pm to 4pm, cost £5.70 for adults and £5.30 for juniors with skate hire or £3.70 for adults and £3.30 for juniors without skate hire.
