Austerfield Field Centre

An environmental centre providing educational visits for all schools and groups. The Centre is situated in the village of Austerfield, near Bawtry and offers excellent opportunities to discover both the built and natural environment. It gives children first hand experience in how to care for these environments.

Activities cover a variety of educational areas particularly science, geography and history and include collecting pond life samples, making and following pictorial trails, river studies, Victorian studies and many more. The Centre even has a specialised animal room housing live exotic species. There is an opportunity to camp overnight in the summer months in the centre's first class tents.  All programmes are conducted by qualified, caring and enthusiastic centre staff.
