A combination of working farm, zoo and riding school, Brockholes Farm Visitors Centre has an incredible range of animals from small ferrets to rare breeds of farm animals.
The pride of the farm is given to a herd of pedigree, Limousin cattle, powerfully impressive beasts. Surprisingly, there is a wide range of exotic animals including llamas, wallabies, monkeys and zebra. A "Woodland Walk" reveals red and fallow deer.
The riding centre is well-equipped with both indoor and outdoor floodlit schools, three jumping fields and acres and acres of open farmland ideal for taking a ride out.
Organised pony days for children include 'own a pony day', food themed hacks and highly popular "Summer Camps" where children from far and wide enjoy the combination of riding and working farm.
Brockholes Farm Visitor Centre welcomes family groups and school parties. The staff are knowledgeable and are able to demonstrate various types of animal husbandry and arable farming.
The Barn Cafe, Farm Shop, picnic areas and disabled facilities.
