Aeroventure

Aeroventure, home of the  South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum is located on Doncaster Lakeside.  A fascinating treasure trove of aviation history with many of the exhibits under cover, it's ideal for sunny or rainy days.  The museum has a Military and Civilian Aircraft collection from propeller training aircraft to Mach 2 Jet fighters, historic 60 year old RAF buildings, a helicopter collection, jet and piston engines, a WWII home front exhibition and a Sheffield Blitz Exhibition. A new exhibition depicting the contribution made by ethnic minorities during World War 2 is now on display.

Facilities

Gift shop and refreshments.  The gift shop has a large stock of modelling kits, books and aviation mementos. Light refreshments are available which provides the museum with funds for its future projects.

1.5 miles South East of Doncaster off the A638, minutes from J3 of the M18 and A1(M) motorways behind the Vue Cinema on Doncaster Lakeside. Follow the brown signs from J3 of the M18.
