Following the great success of last years Pride Event there will be another fun and celebration day for the LGBT community, family, friends and supporters on 17th August. The event will again centre around a live stage in Doncaster Open Market with over 6 hours of live performances, street theatre, face painting, stilt walkers, market stalls (selling a wide range of goods), information stands, food provision, outside bars and even a funfair. It will include something for everyone and give a real party atmosphere in the centre of town. The event will start with a ‘Walk of Unity’ at 2:00pm from the Mansion House which will end in the Market place and hand over straight into the live show starting at approx 2:30pm and going on until around 9:00pm. Come along and join in the celebrations.

Doncaster Open Market
An ideal opportunity for children and adults alike to get up close to some of their favourite animals. The show will include rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, pygmy goats, pygmy donkeys, somali sheep and a wallaby. The animals will be in purpose built enclosures which allow children to pet the animals, but not pick them up. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and give advice.
