Sand House - Elephant in the Room - The Point, South Parade Wednesday 2 May - Friday 29 June Doncaster’s Tourism team is proud to be supporting a special exhibition celebrating a forgotten Victorian house in the town’s rich heritage.The exhibition, ’Sand House — The Elephant in the Room’, is being staged at The Point on South Parade from Wednesday 2 May to Friday 15 June.Supported by Arts Council England, the work celebrates a unique house that was sculpted in the 1850s and 1860s entirely from a single block of sandstone and was the home of wealthy Victorian businessman Henry Senior.
