As the last festival was more or less drunk dry, Lee the beer orderer has been scouring brewery websites, visiting countless pubs and ringing lots of people to bring an even better selection than 2011! Will there be any other drinks? Yes - cider, perry, locally produced wine, soft drinks as well as bottled beers from Belgium, USA and many other countries. We're also ordering more bottles, especially Belgian fruit beers and German pilsners as these were so popular last year. I've heard there's going to be bands and stuff...Yes - the line up is Friday evening - Strange Triangle; Saturday afternoon - Frickley South Elmsall Brass Band; Saturday evening - Dr Busker. Meet at Cantley Sports Pavilion, Cantley Park, Aintree Avenue, DN4 6HR. From Cantley Pavilion, this walk heads through Cantley woodland onto the former Pit Top site. You can see for miles across the borough on a clear day! You can take a short breather at the ‘summit’ before we descend back down through the woods and park. The pavilion will also be open to purchase hot and cold drinks.
